Biography

Dr. Buisman is a member of the Amsterdam and New York Bar. She has over fifteen years of experience researching and practicing International Criminal Law at the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL) and her work published widely on this subject, including a book with Oxford University Presented on Evidence in International Criminal Justice.

Dr. Buisman’s practice consists mainly of extradition cases, criminal cases, and cases brought before the European Court for Human Rights, as well as the African Court of Human and people’s Rights (ACHPR).
